Sending IUPUI Your Transcripts and Other Materials

Sending your transcripts and other materials to complete your application

Once you officially apply for admission to IUPUI, your next step is to have your application materials sent to us so we are able to review your completed application and make a decision. Typically this is your official high school transcript and/or official transcripts from each college or university you've attended.

While our preference is that you have your missing materials sent to us digitally, you do have some options to complete your application with physical materials.

Please note, these directions only apply to students who apply for admission through the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. International or graduate applicants should refer to International Admissions and the Graduate Office for their steps.

Sending materials electronically

Your official high school transcript can be sent using the electronic delivery service used by your high school, such as Parchment or Naviance. Please contact your high school directly to have these sent. We will not accept transcripts sent to the student, then forwarded to IUPUI. Nor do we not accept emailed high school transcripts.

Official college transcripts that are sent electronically from colleges and/or universities can be sent to mycredit@iupui.edu. Transcripts must be sent directly from the institution, to IUPUI. We will not accept transcripts sent to a student, then forwarded to IUPUI.

Students who have completed college classes in high school as part of a dual enrollment program should also have these transcripts sent to us so that you get the appropriate transfer credit before enrolling; however, this will not delay a decision on your application.

If you have applied for admission and chose to include your SAT or ACT scores, you have a few ways to deliver your results to us:

Self-report your scores on your application for admission
Self-report your scores after you apply on our web form
Have the testing agency send your scores directly to IUPUI by using the appropriate code. For the SAT, this is 1325. For the ACT, this is 1214.

Official high school equivalency results can be requested and sent directly to IUPUI through a third-party website, Diploma Sender. We will not accept scores sent to the student, then forwarded to IUPUI.

Official Joint Services transcripts can be sent electronically by following the steps outlined below:

Register for a JST account.
Click on the 'Transcripts' tab at the top of the page, then click the 'Official Transcript Request' tab.
Type in the institute name or any part of the name and click 'search' or hit the enter key.

The more unique the search the easier it will be to find in the results list. For example instead of typing in the 'Some Name University' you could type in 'Some Name'. You may need to scroll through the entire list to ensure you have the correct location.

Sending materials by mail

Materials can be mailed directly to IUPUI using the mailing address listed below. To be considered official, transcripts must be sent directly from the issuing institution to IUPUI.

Note: Joint Services transcripts, Only 2 transcripts within 30 days can be ordered due to production and postage costs. Hard copies will be mailed on the next business day after the transcripts are ordered.

Hand-delivering your materials

If you plan to be on campus, another option is to hand-deliver your application materials. Please note, transcripts that are hand-delivered to our office must be in a sealed envelope from issuing institution to be considered official.
