Freshman enrollment deposit

We've extended our fall deadline for committing to IUPUI.  July 1 is the new date for freshmen to commit to attending this fall. But don't wait —  the sooner you tell us you are attending, the more flexibility you'll have finding an orientation date and registering for classes.

Not a fall freshman? If you've been admitted to IUPUI, but not as a freshman starting in August, you can find your next steps to commit here.

Tell us you are committed

You have three options for letting us know you are plan on becoming a Jaguar. Most students will be required to pay the deposit via credit card or check; however, select populations — including Indiana 21st Century Scholars, and certain IUPUI scholarship recipients — can qualify for a waiver.

You'll need your 10-digit university ID to send your deposit or request a waiver. If you are not sure what yours is, you can look it up

Paying with checks

Students who are wanting to pay with a check can do so by mailing your deposit via the U.S. postal system, or during an in-person visit to our office. You can have a document generated to attach to your check by completing our check payment web form. We do not accept cash for payment.

Next steps for other students

Freshmen admitted for other terms, or other student populations (including transfer and second-degree students) are not responsible for a deposit. Instead, they can tell us their plans by completing our intent to enroll form.
