Freshman enrollment deposit

Consider this your first college assignment

Becoming a Jaguar starts here. IUPUI requires all fall freshmen to officially accept their offer of admission by paying a nonrefundable $100 enrollment deposit or requesting an enrollment deposit waiver.

Once your deposit is received, it will be marked as such on your student record. This will allow you to register for student orientation (which takes place during the summer), once reservations become available in early March. Your deposit will appear as a credit on your financial account.

You'll need your 10-digit university ID to send your deposit or request a waiver. If you are not sure what yours is, you can look it up

Tell us you are committed

You have two options for letting us know you are plan on becoming a Jaguar. Most students will be required to pay the deposit via credit card; however, select populations — including Indiana 21st Century Scholars, and certain IUPUI scholarship recipients — can qualify for a waiver.

Paying with checks

Students who are wanting to pay with a check can do so during an in-person visit to our office. We do not accept cash for payment.

After you've committed

Once received, it can take up to five business days for your deposit or waiver to be reflected on your student record. You should receive a receipt of payment (or confirmation that your waiver was received) after you send your deposit.

If anything further is needed to process your waiver, you will be contacted by our office.

We will contact you via email once you are eligible to reserve your student orientation.
