Review your offer of admission

If you’re admitted to IUPUI, you’ll receive an email that includes important information about your:

  • University ID number: You’ll use this number to create your computing account and throughout your time at IUPUI.
  • School/division: Your school is the academc unit to which you have been admitted. Your school will provide your academic advising.
  • Major: Your major is your proposed area of study. Acceptance into a major is selective. If your school is University College, you will complete prerequisite courses in your first two semesters to gain admission into your intended major.
  • Residency/tuition: Your residency determines whether you will pay in-state or out-of-state tuition.
  • Starting term: Your admission is valid only for the term indicated. To start in a different term, use our application update form to request a change of term.

You will not receive an admission letter via U.S. mail. If there are any errors in your offer of admission, call us at 317-274-4591 to let us know.
