Getting involved outside of the classroom is just as important to your success as a student as what you do inside. That's why IUPUI has a wealth of opportunities and traditions for you to participate in when you're a Jaguar. During IUPUI Tradition Days, you'll learn about some of the key events that take place on or around our campus each year, and how your participation can provide you with a more dynamic college experience.
You gotta Regatta
Canoes. Costumes. Games. Food. IUPUI's Regatta has it all! Regatta is a half-mile canoe relay competition on the downtown Indianapolis canal for IUPUI students, staff, faculty and alumni. As one of the best days each year downtown, IUPUI's Regatta has exciting events designed to entertain children of all ages — clowns, face painters, and live entertainment from Indianapolis area bands make this festive event a can’t miss experience.
During your Traditions Day visit, you'll get to participate as a VIP spectator at Regatta, and see first-hand all the great things this event - and the larger IUPUI community - have to offer.
