IUPUI has 17 schools that grant degrees from Indiana University and Purdue University. If your intended major is housed in an IU school, such as the School of Education or the School of Liberal Arts, you will earn an IU degree. If your intended major is housed in a Purdue school, such as the School of Engineering and Technology or the School of Science, you will earn a Purdue degree.

University College and Honors College

When you apply to IUPUI, you’ll be considered for admission to University College, the common gateway to IUPUI’s academic programs for incoming students, or for dual admission to University College and the degree-granting school that houses your intended major.

If you meet certain academic criteria, you can also apply for admission to IUPUI’s Honors College, home to an academically focused community of Honors Scholars.

IU Herron School of Art and Design

IU School of Health & Human Sciences

As a student here, you can help people get and stay healthy, regain movement and function, or make the most of their nonworking hours. You could become a teacher, therapist, trainer, or tourism industry manager. You could work in a health profession or the business world. It’s all up to you.
