It’s a special feeling of joy

There is a special energy on a university campus at the start of a new academic year. You can feel it in the classrooms, laboratories, libraries and gathering spaces. And for us at IU Indianapolis, you see it in the traffic lines getting longer. Students have arrived and between move-in days last weekend, Bridge Week, the New Student Induction ceremony, and Weeks of Welcome, you see excitement come alive - students greeting new friends, faculty preparing to teach and mentor, and staff working to ensure every student feels welcomed and supported.

We are thrilled to welcome a large and growing student body to campus. Our incoming freshman class has grown by double digits, reflecting the confidence students and families place in IU Indianapolis and the distinctive educational experience we offer.
