Partnering with IU Indianapolis to offer the ICC helps your students earn transferable college credit at little to no cost—all while your teachers gain tuition-free graduate coursework, professional development, and ongoing support.

IU Indianapolis ICC partner school benefits

  • Offer tuition-free IU dual credit through Advance College Project
  • Opportunity for students to take dual enrollment courses on campus through SPAN
  • Credential teachers to teach dual credit courses throgh the IU Dual Credit Pipeline
  • Collaborate with other high schools via the IU-ICC Network
  • Receive dedicated support from an IU Indianapolis ICC Program Manager

ICC Requirements

To earn the ICC, students must complete 30 approved credit hours of college-level coursework in six competencies, 15 of which are earned through a primary postsecondary partner like IU Indianapolis.

The following IU Indianapolis courses qualify for earning the IU Indianapolis Indiana College Core certificate. Course equivalencies from other postsecondary institutions and through AP, IB, and CLEP test scores are also accepted. Your IU Indianapolis ICC Program Manager can review your high school’s offerings and map out a path for your school to offer the Indiana College Core through IU Indianapolis.
