Submitting your college transcripts

To ensure that your college transcripts are officially received, please have them sent directly from your college or transcript service to mycredit@iu.edu. Please do not send high school transcripts to mycredit@iu.edu. Instead, submit them through an electronic transcript service, such as Parchment or Naviance.

Transcripts sent by students are considered unofficial.

Transcript deadlines

Depending on the type of applicant you are, the deadline to send your transcript varies.

Students transferring from another university, IU campus, or are returning for another undergraduate degree:

  • Spring semester: December 9, 2025
  • Summer I semester: March 30, 2026
  • Summer II semester: May 15, 2026
  • Fall semester: July 15, 2026

Students returning to finish their in-progress degree at IU Indianapolis:

  • Spring semester: December 9, 2025
  • Summer I semester: May 13, 2026
  • Summer II semester: May 29, 2026
  • Fall semester: August 18, 2026

Students taking classes without pursuing a degree:

  • Spring semester: January 9, 2026
  • Summer I semester: May 15, 2026
  • Summer II semester: July 3, 2026
  • Fall semester: August 21, 2026
