Welcome to "The Jim"

The James T. Morris Arena, affectionately known as "The Jim," is the new home for IU Indianapolis athletics and a gathering place for the Indianapolis community.

Located on the IU Indianapolis campus in the heart of downtown, the $110 million, multipurpose arena brings Jaguar basketball and volleyball to a state-of-the-art, on-campus venue. With seating for approximately 4,200 spectators, flexible event spaces, and facilities designed for both collegiate athletics and community use, The Jim creates new opportunities to bring people together through sports and live events.

Named in honor of the late James T. Morris, an IU alumnus, former trustee, and longtime Indianapolis civic leader, the arena carries forward his legacy of service to Indiana University and the city.
